Ivan Tsupka was born in 1973 in Odessa, Ukraine . In the 1990s Ivan moved to Kyiv, becoming one of the key figures of Ukrainian contemporary art scene. He graduated Ukrainian Academy of Fine Art and Architecture at 1999, painting dept. Now Ivan is working mostly with photography and new media. Ivan's works are presented in many public collections, including Ukrainian National Museum, Odessa Fine Art Museum and Museum of Odessa Modern Art and in numerous private collections across the globe. He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions at institutions and galleries across the Ukraine including Odessa Museum of Modern Art, Guelman Gallery, Pinchuk Art Center, Soros Center for Contemporary Art, Brucie Collection Gallery among many others.
